எப்படியோ அருள்வாய்-அதை
எவ்விதம் நானறிவேன்?
இப்படி யப்படியென்-றுன்னை
ஏற்பது வீணல்லவோ? (எப்படியோ…)

In what form will You bestow Grace?
   In what way will I know?
To accept You only in this way or that way
   Is pointless, is it not?

   In what form will you bestow Grace?


வாழ்வில் எவையெல்லாம் — நான்
வாய்ந்திடில் நன்மையுண்டோ
யாவையும் நீ யறிவாய் — தரும்
வல்லமையும் உடையாய்! (எப்படியோ…)

Whatever in life that is good to attain
You know it all and have the potency to bestow them

   In what form will you bestow Grace?


நின்னருள் சம்மதமாய்-எது
நேர்ந்திடு மோவதெல்லாம்
என்மனப் பூரணமாய் — ஏற்(று)
இன்புற வேயருள்வாய் (எப்படியோ…)

In accordance with Your Grace, whatever happens
Grace my mind to fully accept it all with bliss

   In what form will you bestow Grace?


புன்மை யொழிந்திடவும் — அருள்
போத மெழுந்திடவும்
என்னினும் என்பொருட்டாய்க்-கவலை
ஏற்பவன் நீயல்லவோ! (எப்படியோ…)

For vileness to be destroyed
   And wisdom of Grace to rise
One who takes responsibility for my sake more than me
   is You alone, aren’t You?

   In what form will you bestow Grace?


தூநெறி நீதருவாய்! — நான்
துன்புற நீசகியாய்!
ஏனினி மேற்கவலைப் — படு
வேன்குரு வேரமணா! (எப்படியோ…)

You will bestow the Holy Way
