To not slip from abidance in devotion

அன்பே அருணேசா — அகலாத
இன்பே ரமணேசா — இடைவிடாமல் (நின்)

Oh Loving Lord Arunachala
Oh unmoving Bliss Lord Ramana
Without any break
   Your never-ending supreme Grace is needed


நீசமனம் — அக — நாசமடைந்திட
நீசமனம் — பரி — பாகமடைந்திட (நின்…)

For the lowly mind to be destroyed within
For the lowly mind to be well-cooked
   Your supreme Grace is needed


என்போல் தெரியுமொரு நிழலுடலை மீண்டும்
ஏனான் எனத்தொழுவேன் — இறைவா
முன்போல் இயலறிவாய் — உபாதியால்
மூடாப் பரசுகமாய் — உலாவிட விளங்கிட (நின்…)

A shadow body that appears to be me
Why will I again venerate that as me, Oh Lord
As my original nature of consciousness
   Unclouded by conditioning
To freely roam and radiate with supreme bliss
   Your supreme Grace is needed


கோடி சாதனைகள் தராத தோர்
கூடம் அறிந்து கொண்டேன் — அகத்தினுள்ளே
நாடி யுனதருளால் அலாதெவர்
ஞான சுக முணர்ந்தார் — குருபரா அதனாலே (நின்…)

Seeking within, I have come to know a place that
   a million austerities cannot bestow 
Who has ever realized the bliss of wisdom
   without your Grace, Oh Supreme Guru
Therefore Your supreme Grace is needed
